Our culture’s view on marriage seems quite pessimistic. The divorce rate is quite high. The rate of people getting married has been on a downward trend since 1980. Marriage is a mystery. When we leave out grace and forgiveness marriage will always be that way. The prophet Hosea served as a perfect example of God’s grace and forgiveness to his bride, the Church.
