“David and Jonathan’s lessons on Friendship” – Children’s Lesson
Based on 1 Samuel 18:1-4

Do you have a best friend? What makes someone a great friend? David and Jonathan show us what a godly friendship is all about. It’s not so much about what you can get out of it, but what you can give to a friendship that means so much. May God give us friendships like David and Jonathan!

    “We Have Another Paraclete”
    Based on John 14:25-27

The Festival of Pentecost celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the New Testament church. Jesus promised his disciples that the Holy Spirit would come to them and remind them of all that he taught them. The Holy Spirit still comes to us today in special ways and bestows peace on us, by reminding us of Jesus’ words and deeds!

Pray as Jesus Prayed for You
    Based on John 17: 11b-19

Much of our prayer life is dominated by requests that we make for other people, particularly fellow believers in Christ. (Spouse, children, grandchildren, friends, etc.) In Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer, he teaches how and what we should pray for them. He prayed for protection, joy and an increase in faith - for their spiritual life, not so much for only physical blessings.  May we do the same!
